VPSForexTrader vs TradingFXVPS (2026): Specs, Terminal Capacity, Locations, Trial and Contract Terms Compared

A 4 GB Forex VPS costs $31.99 a month at VPSForexTrader and $45.00 at TradingFXVPS on monthly billing. Annual billing brings those monthly equivalents to $25.59 and $33.75. The providers also differ on locations, terminal guidance, trial terms and late-payment rules. Those differences determine which plan fits a particular trading setup.

VPSForexTrader publishes this blog and sells one of the services compared. Sources were first checked on October 15, 2026; later verification dates appear below. Areas where TradingFXVPS offers more are stated explicitly.

The comparison covers plan specifications and capacity, locations, service features, prices and contract terms. Prices are in US dollars, exclude VAT and are dated October 2026.

Summary

TradingFXVPS sells Windows VPS plans with 2 to 8 GB of memory. It lists eight cities, including Equinix LD4 London, NY4 New York and TY3 Tokyo. Chicago is available through a separate CME hosting product. Its entry plan costs $25.00 a month, or $17.50 a month on annual billing. It offers a 7-day trial for $3.99. First-time customers buying undiscounted VPS plans also get a 30-day money-back guarantee.

VPSForexTrader sells three Windows VPS plans with 4, 6 and 8 GB of ECC memory. They run in Equinix LD3 London, Equinix NY2 New York, Serverius Amsterdam and Equinix HK4 Hong Kong. All use Windows Server 2025 and are rated for up to 4, 7 and 10 MetaTrader terminals. Its 4 GB and 8 GB plans cost less than TradingFXVPS on both monthly and annual billing.

For a lower entry price or servers in Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore or Chicago, consider TradingFXVPS. VPSForexTrader offers published terminal ratings and ECC memory on every plan, with lower prices at 4 GB and 8 GB in its four cities.

How this comparison was built

Timeframe: prices, specifications and terms were first checked on October 15, 2026. Prices are stated as of October 2026. Later verification dates are recorded by source below. The trial wording, bundled tools, policy-change terms and Microsoft guidance were checked again on October 28, 2026.

Sources: provider plan and location pages, FAQs, trial pages, terms and TradingFXVPS’s order portal, plus Microsoft hardware guidance. VPSForexTrader’s operations team supplied details absent from its pages, including processor models and support channels. Those statements are labeled [2].

Evaluation: specifications, terminal capacity, locations, included services, support, uptime, prices and contract flexibility, including upgrade paths, data retention and suspension on trading days.

Order: TradingFXVPS is described first because the two names are taken in alphabetical order; the order says nothing about quality.

Conflict of interest: VPSForexTrader publishes this article and sells one of the services compared. Figures are attributed to their sources. Both providers’ limitations and the areas where TradingFXVPS offers more are stated explicitly.

Benchmark caveat: latency figures on both sites are vendor-published and have not been independently tested. Where a provider does not publish a specification, the gap is stated rather than estimated.

What is TradingFXVPS?

TradingFXVPS is a forex VPS provider operated by Next Era Pte. Ltd., also known as High Frequency Trading Network Pte Ltd, a Singapore company [4][5]. It sells four forex VPS plans, labeled HFT Standard, HFT Standard+, HFT Advanced and HFT Expert on its pages. It also offers a separate HFT VPS line, dedicated servers and a CME hosting product in Chicago [3]. This article calls the four forex plans Standard, Standard+, Advanced and Expert, as its order portal does [5].

Its forex plans run on AMD Ryzen processors listed at 4.30 GHz or more, with DDR5 memory in most cities. Singapore and some Hong Kong plans use DDR4; some plans there use Intel processors at 3.5 GHz, according to its order portal [5]. Every plan includes a Windows licence, NVMe storage, a 10 Gbps network connection and four weekly off-site backups [3]. A remote trade copier, Copiix, and VPS monitoring with automatic restart, AutoNotify, are included with every plan [3]. Its pages advertise cross-connect latency starting at 0.30 ms and approximate pings to named brokers. These are vendor measurements on MT4 servers, with no stated method or date [3].

What is VPSForexTrader?

VPSForexTrader is a managed forex VPS service operated by HOSTLINE, UAB, a Lithuanian infrastructure company. It has sold forex hosting since 2011 [1]. Smart is designed for up to four MT4 or MT5 terminals. It includes 3 AMD EPYC cores, 4 GB of ECC memory, 120 GB of NVMe storage with high availability, weekly backups and Windows Server 2025 Standard. Smart costs $31.99 a month, or $25.59 a month on a 12-month term [1]. At the monthly prices in this comparison, it is the only plan under $35 with 4 GB of ECC memory and more than 100 GB of storage. Boost and Max raise the published capacity to 7 and 10 terminals, respectively; both include daily backups [1]. The operations team identifies the processors as AMD EPYC 7443 in New York and Hong Kong, and AMD EPYC 7702P in London and Amsterdam [2].

The dated London and New York broker latency tables omit the method [1]. The operations team says measurements use MetaTrader connections to broker servers [2].

Pricing on monthly and annual billing

TradingFXVPS lists annual prices on its plan pages and monthly prices in its order portal. VPSForexTrader shows monthly, 12-month and 24-month prices on its plan cards and also bills every 6 months [1][2]. Prices as of October 2026, excluding VAT:

VPSForexTrader Max88 GB ECC250 GB NVMe with HA$79.99$59.99$719.91

Annual totals are the amounts printed on the providers’ plan cards. Displayed monthly equivalents are rounded, so multiplying them by 12 can differ by a few cents.

TradingFXVPS memory is DDR4 in Singapore and on some Hong Kong plans [5]. On October 15 and 19 VPSForexTrader’s 24-month view showed $19.19, $32.99 and $47.99 a month at a 40 percent discount the provider describes as temporary; a FLASHTRADE code added a further discount on 12-month billing [1][2]. TradingFXVPS displayed the promo code 20%OT on the same days; the figures here are prices without codes [3]. Sources: provider plan pages and order portal [1][3][5].

Like-for-like plans

At 4 GB, VPSForexTrader Smart costs $31.99 a month against $45.00 for TradingFXVPS Advanced, or $25.59 against $33.75 on annual billing. Smart also has 3 cores against 2, ECC memory against memory whose ECC status is not stated, and 120 GB of storage against 40 GB [1][5].

At 8 GB, VPSForexTrader Max costs $79.99 against $90.00 for TradingFXVPS Expert, or $59.99 against $63.75 on annual billing. Max has 8 cores against 4 and 250 GB of storage against 50 GB [1][5].

Below 4 GB, only TradingFXVPS offers a plan. Standard has 1 core and 2 GB at $25.00 a month, or $17.50 on annual billing. It has the lower entry price if 2 GB is enough for your platform and EA [1][5]. Microsoft lists 2 GB as the minimum for Windows Server with Desktop Experience. Its current Server 2025 guidance recommends 4 GB [6]. That is not a terminal-capacity rating and should not be used to judge TradingFXVPS plans running older Windows versions.

Terminal capacity

VPSForexTrader rates its plans for up to 4, 7 and 10 MT4 or MT5 terminals [1]. Its operations team says it tests each plan with terminals running typical EAs on demo accounts [2]. The plan guide adds that heavier indicators or many charts may need the next plan.

TradingFXVPS does not print terminal ratings on its plan cards. One blog guide estimates about 5 terminals on Standard, up to 10 on Advanced and 10 or more on Expert. An earlier pricing guide gives 2 to 4 for Standard and Advanced, and 6 to 8 for Expert. These are vendor estimates with no stated test basis [3]. Its trial page describes a Standard+ example with 2 cores, 2.5 GB and support for 1 to 4 MT4 terminals. The plans-page FAQ says any plan can be tested, so confirm the trial specification before ordering [3]. The plan pages state support for every EA, without a capacity test.

Hardware and network

Memory type is the clearest hardware difference. VPSForexTrader states ECC memory on every plan [1], and Microsoft calls for ECC or similar technology on the physical machines that run Windows Server [6]. TradingFXVPS lists DDR5 or DDR4 but does not say whether it is ECC [3][5].

TradingFXVPS publishes Ryzen clock speeds of 4.30 GHz or more in most cities [5]. Its plan cards also print PassMark multi-thread and single-thread scores and name Hyper-V as the hypervisor [3]. VPSForexTrader identifies its EPYC processor models through the operations team rather than the plan cards [2]. TradingFXVPS advertises a 10 Gbps connection and unlimited traffic. VPSForexTrader lists 1 Gbps; its operations team confirms no traffic cap [1][2][3]. VPSForexTrader’s NVMe storage has high availability. The operations team describes replicated storage that lets a server restart on another node within minutes if its host fails [2]. TradingFXVPS lists NVMe on RAID 10 on its plan page and cites a RAID array in its FAQ, without describing node failover [3].

Data centre locations

TradingFXVPS lists eight cities: New York, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Chicago, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Its low-latency page names Equinix NY4, LD4, AMS1, TY3, SG1 and HK1. It names an Equinix site in Frankfurt without a facility code [3]. The forex VPS plans cover all these cities except Chicago, with availability depending on the plan. Chicago uses the separate CME Aurora hosting product at $59 a month, or $49.16 a month on annual billing [3].

VPSForexTrader has four: Equinix LD3 in London, Equinix NY2 in New York, Serverius in Amsterdam and Equinix HK4 in Hong Kong [1]. It has no server in Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore or Chicago.

Figure 2: Cities where each provider sells forex VPS, October 2026. Sources: provider location pages and order portal [1][3][5].

Pick the city before the plan. If your broker’s trade server is in Tokyo or Singapore, only TradingFXVPS has a server in the same city. If it is in London or New York, both do, in different Equinix buildings.

Latency claims

Both providers publish latency figures, and neither has them tested independently, so treat them as each vendor’s own numbers.

VPSForexTrader’s New York page lists four brokers, including FP Markets LLC and Pepperstone Group, at roughly 1.2 to 1.5 ms from NY2. Its London page lists four brokers at roughly 1.6 to 2.1 ms from LD3. Both tables carry a Data updated stamp and refresh hourly; these readings were captured from October 15 to 19, 2026 [1][2]. The same pages give lower headline ranges: 1.09 to 1.24 ms in New York and 1.06 to 1.12 ms in London. They do not explain the difference. A separate broker-latency page shows each listed broker server from all four VPSForexTrader cities.

TradingFXVPS advertises cross-connect latency “from 0.30ms” and lists approximate pings to named brokers, adding that its latency tests were run on MT4 servers, not MT5 [3]. It gives no date or method for those figures. Its location pages add that actual latency depends on the broker and the connection.

The useful test is your own: log your account in from a trial server in your broker’s city and read the ping in the terminal. Both providers sell a trial for that purpose.

Operating system

VPSForexTrader installs Windows Server 2025 Standard on every plan [1]. TradingFXVPS’s homepage cards list Windows 2019 on Standard, Windows 2022 on Standard+, and 2019 or 2022 on Advanced and Expert. The licence is included. Its order portal also offers Windows 2016 on Standard and Expert, while its FAQ still describes Windows 2012 as the default [3][5]. Check the version in the order form if a platform needs a recent Windows release.

Backups

VPSForexTrader includes weekly backups on Smart and daily backups on Boost and Max [1]. TradingFXVPS lists “4x Weekly Backups Stored Off-Site” on its forex plans, while its dedicated server cards note that a one-time setup fee applies to the off-site backups [3]. Neither publishes how long backups are kept, and both providers’ terms make the customer responsible for keeping backups of their own data [1][4].

Trial and money-back terms

TradingFXVPS offers a 7-day trial for $3.99. Its trial page describes a Standard+ server with 2 cores and 2.5 GB, while the plans-page FAQ says any plan can be tested. Ask support to confirm the specification. It says data and set-ups are kept when upgrading to a paid plan during the trial [3]. The 30-day money-back guarantee covers VPS plans bought by first-time customers, excluding discounted or promotional purchases. There are no prorated refunds [4].

VPSForexTrader offers a 3-day trial for $0.99 on Smart in London, Amsterdam or New York. It needs a card, is limited to one per customer, and continues at $31.99 a month unless cancelled [1][2]. Its 14-day money-back guarantee covers every paid plan but not the trial, and suspended or terminated servers are not refunded [1].

So TradingFXVPS gives a longer trial and a longer refund window, with more conditions on the refund; VPSForexTrader’s trial costs less and its refund covers every paid plan.

Support

VPSForexTrader offers live chat, email and tickets, staffed 24/7. Its chat uses a virtual assistant that hands over to a person when needed. It does not commit to a response time [2]. TradingFXVPS says its help desk is open 24/7 and lists live chat, Skype and tickets on its homepage. Its contact page shows a form, an email address and a Singapore phone number. It gives no response-time commitment either [3].

Uptime and maintenance

VPSForexTrader’s pages print 99.99 percent uptime, but no SLA or guarantee backs the figure; its terms contain no uptime number and disclaim liability for “temporary delays, outages, or interruptions” [1]. Its pages say servers are not taken down for maintenance on active trading days.

TradingFXVPS’s terms and footer state a 99.99 percent uptime guarantee, excluding scheduled maintenance and force majeure events. They define no credits or claim process and disclaim liability for temporary outages [4]. Other pages on its site speak of 100 percent uptime. Its FAQ schedules maintenance at weekends, every 1 to 4 months; the terms promise best efforts to notify [3][4]. The terms also guarantee replacement of failed hardware within 24 hours of diagnosis, excluding RAID rebuild and reinstall time [4]. VPSForexTrader’s terms contain no hardware replacement commitment [1].

Contract flexibility

Both providers sell on reliability, so the rules that apply when you change or stop paying for a plan matter as much as the specs.

Upgrade path. VPSForexTrader’s FAQ says upgrades keep existing data. Its operations team says upgrades can be scheduled in advance, including at weekends [1][2]. TradingFXVPS does not describe upgrades between paid plans. Its New York page asks customers to contact support and publishes no add-on price [3].

Suspension on trading days. VPSForexTrader’s homepage promises no suspension during active Forex trading days, including when payment is overdue [1]. Its terms still allow suspension for late payment, and the provider says the trading-day policy excludes trials [1][2]. TradingFXVPS’s terms issue invoices 14 days before the due date and reminders 7 days before it. After the due date, the terms allow 24 hours to arrange payment before switch-off, followed by permanent termination within 48 hours. The FAQ instead gives 48 hours after the due date [3][4]. A terminated server cannot be reactivated, and no trading-day exception is stated. The FAQ invites customers to request an extension before termination [3].

Cancellation. VPSForexTrader’s FAQ offers immediate cancellation or cancellation at the end of the billing period. Its terms describe 14 days’ notice for terminating the agreement [1]. Early termination does not refund sums already paid. Ending an order before its term runs out can also mean a termination fine and repayment of discounts [1]. TradingFXVPS’s terms describe a month-to-month agreement that can be cancelled at any time, with no refund after the first 30 days [4].

Strengths and limitations

TradingFXVPS

Strengths: eight cities, including Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore and Chicago; Equinix buildings named for several cities; a 2 GB entry plan at $25.00 a month or $17.50 on annual billing; a 7-day trial for $3.99; a 30-day money-back guarantee for first-time customers on undiscounted VPS plans; Windows licence included; trade copier and monitoring with automatic restart included; 10 Gbps network connection; replacement of failed hardware within 24 hours of diagnosis guaranteed in its terms.

Limitations: ECC memory not stated; terminal guidance appears only on the trial page and in blog posts, with inconsistent figures, not on the plan cards; 30 to 50 GB of storage; Windows Server 2019 or 2022 rather than 2025, with older versions still on the order portal and FAQ; after the invoice due date, 24 hours (terms) or 48 hours (FAQ) before the server is switched off, with no trading-day exception; no stated upgrade path between paid plans; uptime figures that differ between pages, with no credits defined; refunds exclude discounted purchases and returning customers.

VPSForexTrader

Strengths: ECC memory stated on every plan; Windows Server 2025 Standard by default; terminal ratings published for each plan; lower monthly and annual prices than TradingFXVPS at 4 GB and 8 GB; 120 to 250 GB of storage with high availability; daily backups on Boost and Max; upgrades and downgrades without data loss; 6, 12 and 24-month billing.

Limitations: four cities, with no Frankfurt, Tokyo, Singapore or Chicago; no plan below 4 GB, so the entry price is $31.99 a month; a 3-day trial against 7 days; a 14-day money-back window against 30 days; no hardware replacement commitment in the terms; early termination does not refund sums paid and can carry a termination fee and recovery of discounts; 1 Gbps network connection; headline latency ranges are lower than most of the pages’ own broker figures; the processor model and latency method are not on the plan pages.

Which one fits which trader

TradingFXVPS Standard has the lower entry price for a trader running one EA: $25.00 a month, or $17.50 on annual billing. Check that 2 GB is enough for the platform and EA, and that the broker’s server is in one of its cities.

A trader whose broker hosts in Frankfurt, Tokyo or Singapore, or who trades CME futures from Chicago, needs TradingFXVPS, because VPSForexTrader has no server there.

VPSForexTrader publishes ratings for four or more terminals in London, New York, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. Smart covers up to four at $31.99 a month, Boost up to seven at $54.99, and Max up to ten at $79.99. Each includes ECC memory and Windows Server 2025. Smart and Max cost less than TradingFXVPS plans with the same memory. TradingFXVPS could cost less for five to ten terminals if its newer blog estimate for Advanced proves sufficient: that 4 GB plan costs $45.00 a month. Its earlier guide rates the same plan for only 2 to 4 terminals, so test your own workload. VPSForexTrader offers a $0.99 trial to check the ping and workload before paying for a month.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheaper, VPSForexTrader or TradingFXVPS?

It depends on the size. At 4 GB, VPSForexTrader Smart costs $31.99 a month against $45.00 for TradingFXVPS Advanced, and at 8 GB Max costs $79.99 against $90.00 for Expert, as of October 2026 [1][5]. Below 4 GB, only TradingFXVPS sells a plan.

Which has the cheaper entry plan for a single EA?

TradingFXVPS. Its Standard plan, with 1 core and 2 GB, costs $25.00 a month or $17.50 a month on annual billing, while VPSForexTrader’s smallest plan has 4 GB and costs $31.99 a month [1][5].

Does either use ECC memory?

VPSForexTrader states ECC memory on every plan [1]. TradingFXVPS lists DDR5 or DDR4 without stating whether it is ECC [3][5].

What happens if a payment is late?

Contact support before termination if a payment will be late. TradingFXVPS’s FAQ offers an extension on request; a terminated server cannot be restored [3][4]. VPSForexTrader says its trading-day protection applies to paid servers, not trials [1][2].

Can I upgrade without losing data?

At VPSForexTrader, yes: upgrades and downgrades keep your existing data [1]. TradingFXVPS states this for moving from its trial to a paid plan, but does not describe upgrades between paid plans [3].

Editorial note

VPSForexTrader publishes this article and is one of the two providers compared. TradingFXVPS appears first because the names are in alphabetical order. Its lower entry price, wider city coverage, longer trial and refund window, included tools and written hardware replacement commitment are stated alongside its limitations. Prices, specifications and terms were first verified on October 15, 2026. Later checks are dated in the references and change log; prices are stated as of October 2026. Confirm the amount at checkout because prices and promotions change. Latency figures are vendor-published and have not been independently tested. This article covers trading infrastructure and does not constitute financial advice. Broker execution, market conditions and trader skill affect results, and a VPS cannot fully control them.
