Eight Hosting Providers for Automated Currency Trading Compared by Price and Resources

On October 29, 2026, AccuWeb Hosting advertised a 4 GB Forex VPS for $29.99. The same plan renews at $47.00 a month, so a year on monthly billing costs $546.99, not the $359.88 that twelve payments of the headline price would suggest [6]. That gap is the problem with comparing Forex VPS providers on price alone. The number on the banner is often a first-month offer, and the plan behind it may leave out things you will pay for later: a Windows licence, backups, or memory reliable enough for terminals that run for weeks without a restart.

A VPS (virtual private server) is a rented Windows machine in a data centre that keeps MetaTrader terminals and Expert Advisors (EAs, automated trading programs) running when your own computer is off. The hosts below all sell one. They differ in how much processor, memory and storage the money buys, and in what the monthly price includes.

This guide compares eight of them on the price you keep paying after the first invoice: ChartVPS, QuantVPS, VPSForexTrader, AccuWeb Hosting, NYCServers, Cloudzy, MyForexVPS and Beeks. Three of them have a 4 GB plan whose host states ECC memory, NVMe storage, included backups and an included Windows Server licence: VPSForexTrader Smart at $31.99 a month, QuantVPS VPS Starter+ at $39.99 and ChartVPS Alpha Mark-1 at $50.00 [1][3][4]. The other five charge less and leave one or more of those out, or charge more for less.

VPSForexTrader publishes this blog and is one of the eight providers compared. It appears third, under the ordering rule explained in the methodology, and the places where other hosts offer more are stated plainly. Prices were read on the providers’ own pages on October 29, 2026.

The short version

ChartVPS Alpha Mark-1: $50.00 for 2 Ryzen 9 9950X vCPUs, 128 GB of NVMe storage and daily snapshots, the highest 4 GB price among the dollar-priced hosts [4].

QuantVPS VPS Starter+: $39.99 for 2 Ryzen 9 9950X vCPUs on a fleet it describes as DDR5 ECC, with off-site backups; QuantVPS rates its 4 GB plans for 0 to 1 terminals [3].

VPSForexTrader Smart: $31.99 a month for 3 vCPUs, 4 GB of ECC memory, 120 GB of NVMe storage, weekly backups and Windows Server 2025, rated for up to 4 terminals [1].

AccuWeb Hosting Forex VPS 3: 4 vCPUs at 4 GB, the most at that size, for $29.99 in the first month and $47.00 after [6].

NYCServers Standard: $40.00 on monthly billing, rated for 3 to 6 trading accounts, with no backups unless you buy its add-on [5].

Cloudzy 4 GB: $28.95 at list and $14.48 in its current sale, with a trial Windows licence that you replace with your own [8].

MyForexVPS Gold: the lowest 4 GB price, $19.99, with SSD storage and no backups on standard plans [7].

Beeks Silver: £55.00 base plus £13.00 for Windows, £68.00 before VAT (about $90.36), with a guideline of six MetaTrader instances [9][10].

How these providers were compared

Timeframe. Prices, plans and terms were read on each provider’s own pages on October 29, 2026, and retain that dated snapshot except where marked. VPSForexTrader’s first-month offer, Beeks Windows configurations, QuantVPS’s ECC statement and ChartVPS Pro specifications were rechecked on October 30, 2026.

Sources. Provider plan, order, policy and terms pages for all eight hosts; written answers from VPSForexTrader’s operations team for facts its public pages do not cover (processor models, storage high availability, resource allocation and traffic); Microsoft’s Windows Server documentation; PassMark’s CPU benchmark pages; broker trading hours pages; and ECB and NIST reference data. No figure in this guide comes from a third-party review site.

Evaluation dimensions. The monthly price you pay after any first-month offer ends; the vCPUs, memory, storage and traffic that price buys; what it includes (Windows licence, backups, ECC memory, protection against network attacks); terminal guidance; uptime terms; and refund terms. Prices are monthly billing without promo codes; first-month offers, sale prices and longer terms are shown separately and labelled. Beeks sells in pounds, so its prices are converted at the ECB reference rates of October 28, 2026, the latest published when checked [10]. VPSForexTrader and Beeks state that their prices exclude VAT.

Ordering rationale. Four inclusions count, each only as the host states it: ECC memory, NVMe storage, backups included in the price, and a Windows Server licence included in the price. Providers are grouped by how many of the four they document, from four to zero, and listed alphabetically within each group. The order describes documentation, not quality. The count covers base-plan inclusions. Paid options do not count, even where a price column adds Beeks’s Windows option to show the Windows-ready bill.

Conflict of interest. VPSForexTrader publishes this guide and sells the Smart, Boost and Max plans described here. Its section lists more limitations than strengths, and two places in the guide point to other hosts where they fit better.

Benchmark caveat. No forex VPS provider publishes independently audited performance tests, and this guide did not run any. Terminal ratings, uptime figures and processor benchmarks are each host’s own statements or PassMark’s published averages, labelled as such.

The price after the first invoice

Seven of the eight providers had a first-month or limited-time offer across the October 29–30 checks. The six competitor offers recorded on October 29 were QuantVPS’s 80 percent first-month Halloween discount, Cloudzy’s limited-time 50 percent sale, ChartVPS’s 30 percent first-month discount, NYCServers’ 20 percent first-VPS discount, MyForexVPS’s 20 percent SPOOKY26 code and AccuWeb’s automatically applied first-month offer [3] to [8]. VPSForexTrader’s homepage popup, verified on October 30, offered 20 percent off the first month through a code sent by email for the selected city [1]. Beeks showed an annual-term discount rather than a first-month offer [9].

Offers end, and the recurring price is what a trading account carries for years. AccuWeb’s terms put it plainly: “Discounts apply only during the initial Term of the Services, and do not renew” [6]. On its Forex VPS 3 that means $29.99 for the first month and $47.00 for every month after, a 36 percent gap. Cloudzy’s sale halves the price for now, but its banner calls the sale limited time and its pages do not say what the 4 GB plan will cost on renewal if you start during the sale [8].

Figure 1: Recurring monthly price against the first-month or sale price for each provider’s 4 GB plan. Main price snapshot: October 29, 2026; VPSForexTrader’s first-month offer and Beeks’s Windows-inclusive configuration rechecked October 30. Sources [1][3] to [10].

Longer terms are another promotion, rather than permanent price terms. The VPSForexTrader rates displayed on October 29 put Smart at $307.10 for the year, or $25.59 a month, after a 20 percent annual discount; Boost and Max showed 25 percent annual discounts. The site also displayed 40 percent off 24-month terms. Check the current term and code conditions before paying. QuantVPS takes 20 percent off annual billing, so Starter+ falls to $31.99 [3]. NYCServers’ yearly rates work out at $20.83, $33.33 and $50.00 a month [5]. Beeks Silver is £550 a year before an operating system; with the Windows option it is £680 before VAT, reflecting two free months [9]. MyForexVPS Gold costs $15.99 a month paid annually, ChartVPS Mark-1 costs $550 a year, and Cloudzy’s annual rate during its sale matches its monthly sale rate [4][7][8].

Two hosts also fix the price for longer. QuantVPS promises a “3 years minimum rate lock”, and ChartVPS says new subscriptions keep their starting price for at least three years without a three-year commitment [3][4]. VPSForexTrader’s terms let it raise fees with 30 days’ notice [1].

The refund window matters most when you prepay. VPSForexTrader gives 14 days on every plan except its $0.99 trial [1]. QuantVPS gives 14 days on the first payment of a standard VPS bought without a coupon, promotional discount “or other price reduction”, NYCServers 14 days once per account, and Cloudzy 14 days [3][5][8]. MyForexVPS and AccuWeb give 7 days [6][7]. ChartVPS refunds only a service that “does not match how it’s described”, within 30 days of the latest payment and at its discretion, and Beeks refunds cancellations made within 24 hours of purchase [4][9].

What a vCPU and a gigabyte buy you

Hosts describe processors as “cores” or “vCPU”. On a VPS both mean virtual CPUs, usually one hardware thread each on a host shared with other customers, and a host can allocate more of them than the machine has unless it says they are dedicated. This guide counts them as vCPUs. VPSForexTrader’s London page says “Each VPS includes dedicated vCPU, ECC RAM, and NVMe storage”, and its operations team says the CPU and memory allocated to virtual machines never exceed the host’s physical capacity [1][2]. QuantVPS and ChartVPS describe resources as “reserved” for each VPS, AccuWeb lists “Dedicated CPU cores”, and MyForexVPS says resources are “never shared” [3][4][6][7]. NYCServers’ homepage mentions “dedicated hardware” without saying whether a VPS’s vCPUs are reserved, and the Cloudzy and Beeks pages read for this guide say neither [5][8][9].

A vCPU is not a unit of speed. QuantVPS’s own reference figures put one Ryzen core of its Performance plans at 4,728 on PassMark’s single-thread test and one EPYC core of its Standard plans at 2,554, a gap of 85 percent for the $10 between Starter and Starter+ [3]. PassMark’s own single-thread rating for the Ryzen 9 9950X is 4,726 [13]. ChartVPS uses the same processor, and Cloudzy sells a Ryzen line at 4.2 GHz or more at the same prices as its EPYC line [4][8]. VPSForexTrader’s plan cards say AMD EPYC without a model; its section below gives the models and their single-thread ratings, which sit well below the Ryzen 9 9950X [2][13]. The MyForexVPS and Beeks plan pages name no processor [7][9]. A count of vCPUs compares like with like only inside one host’s range.

Memory is where most of the money goes. On monthly billing, a gigabyte in a Windows-ready 4 GB plan costs from $5.00 a month (MyForexVPS Gold) to about $22.59 (Beeks Silver including its £13 Windows option), with VPSForexTrader Smart at $8.00 [1][7][9][10]. Cloudzy’s $7.24 per GB excludes a permanent Windows licence. At 8 GB, the three plans with all four inclusions work out at $10.00 per GB.

Figure 2: Monthly price per GB for the 4 GB and 8 GB plans (Beeks: 4 GB and 6.5 GB). Main snapshot October 29, 2026; Beeks Windows-inclusive totals rechecked October 30. Cloudzy excludes a permanent Windows licence. Sources [1][3] to [10].

Windows takes its share before any terminal starts. Microsoft lists 2 GB of memory as the minimum for Windows Server 2025 with the desktop and recommends 4 GB [11]. Actual use varies, roughly 1.5 to 2.5 GB at idle with a remote desktop session, Defender and updates, so this guide sets 2 GB aside for Windows as a planning convention, not a measurement. MT4 and MT5 are not the same load: MT4 is a 32-bit program and MT5 a heavier 64-bit one [12]. As a rough working figure, an idle MT4 terminal with a couple of charts uses about 100 to 200 MB and an idle MT5 terminal about 150 to 300 MB.

Terminal guidance on the same 4 GB runs from 0 to 1 (QuantVPS) to “8+” (Cloudzy). After the 2 GB convention, QuantVPS’s guidance leaves 2.00 GB at one terminal, ChartVPS’s 1.00 to 2.00 GB, VPSForexTrader’s 0.50 GB at four, NYCServers’ and MyForexVPS’s 0.33 to 0.67 GB, Beeks’ 0.33 GB at six, and AccuWeb’s and Cloudzy’s 0.25 GB at eight [1][3] to [9]. A quarter of a gigabyte holds a light MT4 terminal and little else; it does not hold an MT5 terminal with deep chart history.

Figure 3: Terminal guidance for each 4 GB plan and the memory left per terminal after setting aside 2 GB for Windows, October 29, 2026. Sources: provider plan pages [1][3] to [9]; Microsoft [11].

Disk space is the third resource. Microsoft calls 32 GB “an absolute minimum” for the Windows system partition [11]. AccuWeb’s 45 GB leaves about 13 GB above that, and the 50 GB plans at QuantVPS and Beeks about 18 GB, while VPSForexTrader’s 120 GB, Cloudzy’s 120 GB and ChartVPS’s 128 GB leave room for several terminals’ price history and logs [1][3][4][6][8][9]. Port speed rarely limits a MetaTrader server: VPSForexTrader lists 1 Gbps, QuantVPS 1 to 3 Gbps with bursts to 10, ChartVPS 3 to 10 Gbps and Cloudzy a 40 Gbps uplink [1][3][4][8].

What is in the price and what costs extra

The cheapest plan is not always the cheapest bill. Four things decide how much you add to the listed price.

Start with the Windows licence. Six providers, including VPSForexTrader, show Windows without a separate licence charge: VPSForexTrader, QuantVPS, ChartVPS, AccuWeb Hosting, NYCServers and MyForexVPS [1][3] to [7]. Beeks charges £13 a month on top of its VPS base price; the London order form offered Windows Server 2025 when checked on October 30, with versions depending on location [9]. Cloudzy ships a trial licence and asks you to activate a key you already own for production use [8]. It publishes no permanent licence price. Its $28.95 4 GB plan is $3.04 cheaper than Smart before that licence cost.

Backups come second. VPSForexTrader includes weekly backups on Smart and daily backups on Boost and Max; QuantVPS includes automatic off-site backups on every VPS plan; ChartVPS includes encrypted off-server daily snapshots with a recovery target under two hours [1][3][4]. AccuWeb gives a free weekly backup on forex plans in London, Denver and New York and sells daily backups in its cart [6]. NYCServers’ terms say it “does not take customer data backups unless you have purchased our optional backup service”, and the add-on’s price is not on its plan or order pages [5]. MyForexVPS’s SLA says it “does not provide backup or data restoration services as part of standard VPS plans”, Cloudzy says “Snapshots are free” without describing automatic backups, and Beeks’ terms make backups “your own (the Customer’s) responsibility” [7][8][9].

Memory type is third. ECC memory detects and corrects memory errors on the host server; Microsoft lists it for physical host deployments, so it is a host property rather than something a trader can verify inside a VPS [11]. VPSForexTrader prints ECC on each plan card. QuantVPS’s live pricing page, rechecked October 30, explicitly describes its Ryzen Performance fleet as DDR5 ECC; that supports counting ECC for Starter+, but not for the DDR4 Standard line [1][3]. ChartVPS states ECC across Alpha [4]. The other five do not state ECC on the pages used here [5] to [9].

Figure 4: Which of seven inclusions each provider documents on its plan, policy and terms pages, October 29, 2026. Sources: provider plan, order, policy and terms pages [1][3] to [9]; VPSForexTrader operations team [2].

The fourth is traffic and protection. QuantVPS lists unmetered bandwidth, ChartVPS unlimited bandwidth and MyForexVPS “Unlimited traffic” on its site pages, and VPSForexTrader’s operations team says there is no traffic cap behind its 1 Gbps port [2][3][4][7]. Cloudzy includes 5 TB a month on its 4 GB plan and alerts you rather than throttling if you go over, AccuWeb includes 750 GB on Forex VPS 3, and NYCServers’ terms include 1 TB a month on its VPS plans [5][6][8]. Beeks states no allowance on its store pages [9]. A MetaTrader terminal moves small amounts of data, so these limits are unlikely to bind for most traders, though heavy remote desktop use adds up. QuantVPS, ChartVPS, Cloudzy and AccuWeb list protection against network attacks (DDoS) among their plan features [3][4][6][8]. VPSForexTrader’s public pages advertise network DDoS mitigation, while its operations team says no dedicated DDoS protection product is in place yet; the mitigation claim is therefore qualified rather than treated as a confirmed dedicated protection service [1][2]; NYCServers’ terms allow it to null-route an IP address under attack, which cuts traffic to that server; and the MyForexVPS and Beeks pages read for this guide do not mention it [2][5][7][9].

One more cost hides in remote access. AccuWeb notes that “More than two concurrent RDP connections require additional CAL Licenses” [6]. Microsoft requires a Remote Desktop Services client access licence for each user or device that connects to a session host running Windows Server, so plan on one or two administrator sessions per VPS [11].

Uptime terms and weekend maintenance

Uptime promises come in two kinds: a contract with service credits, and a figure on a marketing page. QuantVPS sets a 99.999 percent monthly target for VPS hosting and pays credits of 10 percent below target, 25 percent below 99.9, 50 percent below 99.0 and 100 percent below 95.0, while saying in the same document that “This SLA does not guarantee uptime” [3]. ChartVPS’s contractual commitment is 99.9 percent, with credits from 5 percent below 99.95 up to 100 percent, under a page headed “100% Uptime Guarantee. 99.99% Measured.” [4]. NYCServers promises 100 percent “during market trading hours”, with credits of 10 percent below 100 rising 10 points per 0.1 percent band to 100 percent below 99.1 [5]. MyForexVPS credits 5 percent of the monthly payment per full hour below 99.99 percent, and Cloudzy pays the hourly cost of the downtime from 20 minutes up to 36 hours and the full month beyond that, against a 99.95 percent commitment [7][8]. AccuWeb’s 99.9 percent comes with credits that start only below 99 percent: one day’s charges between 97 and 99 percent, two between 95 and 96.99, and five between 90 and 94.99 [6].

VPSForexTrader and Beeks publish no SLA. VPSForexTrader’s terms say it “shall not be held responsible for temporary delays, outages, or interruptions”, and its operations team confirms there is no uptime guarantee behind the 99.99 percent figure printed on some of its pages; Beeks’ terms say it “will not be liable for any temporary delay, outages or interruptions” [1][2][9].

Maintenance windows matter more to an EA than a percentage. Spot forex reopens on Sunday at about 5 p.m. New York time: OANDA’s US site says “approximately 5pm Sunday”, and FXCM UK says between 5:00 and 5:15 p.m. Eastern Time [14]. NYCServers schedules maintenance from Friday 5:00 p.m. to Sunday 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with at least 24 hours’ notice, so its window closes as the market opens [5]. QuantVPS’s primary window runs from Friday 10:00 p.m. Central Time “until CME Globex futures reopen, normally Sunday 5:00 PM CT”, which is 6 p.m. in New York, an hour into the forex week [3]. MyForexVPS sets its window on Saturday and Sunday between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. GMT, which ends at 5 p.m. New York time once US clocks change on November 1, 2026, and at 6 p.m. while New York is on daylight time and London is not [7][15].

Figure 5: Published weekend maintenance windows against the Sunday forex open, New York time, from November 1, 2026. Sources: QuantVPS, NYCServers and MyForexVPS SLAs and policies [3][5][7]; broker trading hours [14]; NIST [15].

The other five publish no fixed window. VPSForexTrader’s London page says “We never take servers down for maintenance during active trading days”, and its operations team says planned maintenance is announced to customers by email [1][2]; Beeks promises best efforts to give notice with no obligation; ChartVPS and Cloudzy exclude scheduled maintenance from their SLAs without publishing a schedule [1][4][8][9].

1. ChartVPS

source: chartvps.com

Infrastructure tier: trading VPS on Ryzen 9 9950X (Alpha), GPU VPS (Gamma) and dedicated servers (Delta)
Locations: Chicago, Dallas, London, Frankfurt, Singapore and Tokyo in the Alpha order form; the site also lists New York

ChartVPS is a Toronto-based host that sells CPU-first trading servers under the Alpha name and quotes PassMark results for each plan [4]. Alpha Mark-1 has 2 Ryzen 9 9950X vCPUs, 4 GB of DDR5 memory, 128 GB of Gen4 NVMe storage and unlimited bandwidth for $50.00 a month; Mark-2 has 3 vCPUs, 8 GB and 256 GB for $80.00; Mark-3 has 4 vCPUs, 16 GB and 384 GB for $140.00 [4]. These are the Standard edition prices. A Pro edition costs $70.00, $120.00 and $180.00, and doubles the memory at each size to 8, 16 and 32 GB. Pro Mark-2 has 4 cores and Pro Mark-3 has 8 cores; Mark-1 remains at 2 cores. These Pro specifications were rechecked on October 30.

Windows Server 2025, DDoS filtering, process monitoring with email alerts and encrypted daily snapshots come with every plan, and the Alpha page says the memory is ECC “across Alpha” [4]. The forex page suggests Mark-1 for 1 to 2 terminals and roughly 5 to 10 light EAs, Mark-2 for 3 to 5 terminals and Mark-3 for six or more. New subscriptions keep their price for at least three years, and yearly billing saves about 8 percent ($550 for Mark-1).

There is no trial, fees are non-refundable except for a service that does not match its description, and payments in cryptocurrency come back only as account credit [4]. On October 29, the Alpha order form offered Chicago, Dallas, Frankfurt, London, Singapore and Tokyo, but not the New York location shown on the site.

Strengths: the Ryzen 9 9950X, which shares the highest PassMark single-thread figure here with QuantVPS’s Performance line; daily off-server snapshots, DDoS filtering and Windows Server 2025 included; 128 GB of storage at 4 GB; unlimited bandwidth; a three-year price lock.

Limitations: $50.00 for 4 GB, $12.50 per GB; guidance of 1 to 2 terminals at 4 GB; ECC stated on the series page but not on the plan cards; no New York in the Alpha order form on October 29; no trial and refunds only for a service that does not match its description; a “100% Uptime Guarantee” headline above a 99.9 percent contractual commitment.

2. QuantVPS

QuantVPS
source: quantvps.com

Infrastructure tier: trading VPS on AMD EPYC (Standard) or Ryzen 9 9950X (Performance), plus dedicated servers
Locations: Chicago, New York, London, Dublin, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Singapore

QuantVPS is a Chicago-based trading VPS provider built around futures traders, with a forex VPS page that places servers in New York (NY4) or London (LD4) and installs MetaTrader before you log in [3]. It sells two lines at each size. Standard runs on AMD EPYC 7003 processors with DDR4 memory: Starter (2 vCPUs, 4 GB, 50 GB of NVMe) at $29.99, Lite (4, 8 GB, 75 GB) at $59.99 and Pro (6, 16 GB, 150 GB) at $99.99. Performance runs on the Ryzen 9 9950X with DDR5: Starter+ at $39.99, Lite+ at $79.99 and Pro+ at $129.99, with the same memory and storage [3]. Annual billing takes 20 percent off.

Every VPS plan includes automatic off-site backups, always-on DDoS protection, a dedicated IP address and unmetered bandwidth, and new subscriptions carry a three-year rate lock [3]. Its forex page gives guidance of 0 to 1 terminals for Starter, 1 to 3 for Lite and 3 to 5 for Pro, the most conservative ratings here; QuantVPS says its sizing is based on “25,000+ audited VPS performance tickets”. After 2 GB for Windows, its 4 GB guidance leaves 2.00 GB at one terminal [3][11].

The SLA and maintenance window are set around CME futures hours, so the window runs about an hour into the Sunday forex session (see the uptime section) [3][14]. Refunds cover the first payment for 14 days and exclude orders with a coupon or other price reduction [3].

Strengths: off-site backups, DDoS protection and unmetered bandwidth on every VPS plan; MetaTrader pre-installed; a Ryzen line with DDR5 described as ECC; a three-year rate lock; an SLA with a published credit schedule.

Limitations: terminal guidance of 0 to 1 on both 4 GB plans, so three terminals point to an 8 GB plan at $59.99 or more; ECC not stated for the DDR4 Standard line; 50 GB of storage at 4 GB; the maintenance window runs about an hour past the Sunday forex open; the SLA says it “does not guarantee uptime”; refunds exclude discounted and promotional orders.

Infrastructure tier: forex VPS on AMD EPYC with ECC memory and replicated NVMe storage
Locations: London (Equinix LD3), New York (Equinix NY2), Amsterdam (Serverius) and Hong Kong (Equinix HK4)

VPSForexTrader has sold forex hosting since 2011 and is the publisher of this guide [1]. VPSForexTrader Smart is a Windows VPS with 24/7 staffed support, designed for running up to four MT4 or MT5 terminals near a broker’s servers in London, New York, Amsterdam or Hong Kong. It comes with 3 AMD EPYC vCPUs, 4 GB of ECC memory, 120 GB of NVMe storage with high availability, weekly backups, a 1 Gbps port and Windows Server 2025 Standard for $31.99 a month, or $25.59 a month on a 12-month term [1]. Boost adds 6 vCPUs, 6 GB of ECC memory, 180 GB of storage and daily backups for up to seven terminals at $54.99, and Max has 8 vCPUs, 8 GB and 250 GB with daily backups for up to ten at $79.99 [1]. Smart is the only 4 GB plan in this comparison under $35 a month whose host states ECC memory, NVMe storage, included backups and an included Windows Server licence. For three or four terminals at about $32 a month, it covers all four at the lowest monthly price among the plans that include them.

The operations team describes what sits behind the plan cards [2]. The storage is replicated NVMe: if a physical node fails, the virtual machines on it restart on another node using the same storage, typically within a few minutes. The CPU and memory allocated to virtual machines never exceed the host’s physical capacity, and there is no traffic cap. The processors are the AMD EPYC 7443 in New York and Hong Kong and the EPYC 7702P in London and Amsterdam, which PassMark rates at 2,931 and 2,050 for a single thread, against 4,726 for the Ryzen 9 9950X that QuantVPS and ChartVPS use [13]. At 8 GB, Max gives 8 vCPUs for the same $79.99 that buys 4 at QuantVPS, so it trades per-core speed for core count [1][3].

MetaTrader is not pre-installed; you install it over remote desktop, and support can help over live chat, email or tickets around the clock, with no fixed response-time commitment [1][2]. A three-day trial on the Smart specification costs $0.99, and paid plans carry a 14-day money-back guarantee that excludes the trial [1]. Prices are the same in all four cities and exclude VAT, and the terms allow fee changes with 30 days’ notice. There is no uptime SLA or service credit, and its pages advertise DDoS mitigation, while the operations team says no dedicated DDoS protection product is in place yet [1][2].

Best fit: traders running two to ten MT4 or MT5 terminals at brokers served from London, New York, Amsterdam or Hong Kong who want ECC memory, NVMe storage, backups and Windows Server 2025 in one monthly price. Less ideal if: you run a single light terminal on the smallest possible budget, trade with a broker in Chicago, Frankfurt, Tokyo or Singapore, want the fastest per-core processor, or need a written uptime SLA with credits.

Strengths: ECC memory stated on every plan; replicated NVMe storage that restarts a server on another node if its host fails; backups included on every plan, daily from Boost upward; Windows Server 2025 Standard on every plan; 8 vCPUs at 8 GB, the most at that size in this comparison; no traffic cap; terminal rating printed on every plan card; a $0.99 three-day trial and a 14-day money-back guarantee on paid plans.

Limitations: no plan below 4 GB, so the entry price is $31.99; four cities, with no Chicago, Frankfurt, Tokyo or Singapore; per-core speed well below the Ryzen 9 9950X used by QuantVPS and ChartVPS; no uptime SLA or service credits; DDoS mitigation advertised without a confirmed dedicated protection product; processor model not named on the plan cards and no benchmark published; MetaTrader not pre-installed; no fixed support response time; prices exclude VAT; at 8 GB, Max costs more than MyForexVPS, Cloudzy, QuantVPS Lite and NYCServers; at 4 GB, its $8.00 per GB is above MyForexVPS, Cloudzy and QuantVPS Starter.

4. AccuWeb Hosting

AccuWeb
source: accuwebhosting.com

Infrastructure tier: managed Windows VPS from a general hosting company
Locations: forex plans in New York, Denver, London and Frankfurt; 16 or more locations listed site-wide

AccuWeb Hosting is a general hosting company that sells a fully managed forex VPS line with terminal counts on every plan [6]. On monthly billing, Forex VPS 1 (1 vCPU, 1.5 GB, 35 GB of SSD, 250 GB of traffic, up to 2 terminals) renews at $15.00, Forex VPS 2 (2 vCPUs, 3 GB, 40 GB, 450 GB, up to 4) at $30.00, Forex VPS 3 (4 vCPUs, 4 GB, 45 GB, 750 GB, up to 8) at $47.00, and Forex VPS 4 (4 vCPUs, 8 GB, 50 GB, 1 TB, 8 or more) at $91.00. The first month costs $7.99, $14.99, $29.99 and $59.99 [6].

Windows Server comes licensed, versions 2019 to 2025 depending on the plan, and forex plans in London, Denver and New York include a free weekly backup [6]. The page lists “Advanced DDoS Protection” and “NVMe SSD Storage” among general features, while the plan cards say SSD [6]. Forex VPS 3 has the most vCPUs at 4 GB in this comparison, but its rating of up to 8 terminals leaves 0.25 GB each after Windows’ 2 GB.

AccuWeb has no free forex VPS trial and offers a 7-day money-back guarantee [6]. Its SLA credits start below 99 percent, so a month between 99 and 99.9 percent uptime earns nothing, and its terms say discounts apply only to the first term.

Strengths: 4 vCPUs at 4 GB; Windows Server licensed and fully managed; terminal counts on every plan; a free weekly backup in three of its four forex locations.

Limitations: the 4 GB plan renews at $47.00 after a $29.99 first month; 45 GB of SSD storage, 13 GB above Microsoft’s 32 GB minimum; ECC memory not stated; guidance of up to 8 terminals on 4 GB leaves 0.25 GB each; no SLA credit between 99 and 99.9 percent; a 7-day refund window and no trial.

5. NYCServers

source: newyorkcityservers.com

Infrastructure tier: forex VPS and dedicated trading servers
Locations: New York (NY4), London (LD4), Tokyo (TY3), Singapore (SG1), Hong Kong (HK1) and Dublin (DUB1)

NYCServers, the trading name of GreenHill Technologies Inc., has sold forex VPS since 2012 and sizes its plans by trading accounts rather than terminals [5]. Basic has 2 vCPUs, 2 GB of DDR5 memory and 60 GB of NVMe storage for 1 to 2 accounts at $25.00 a month; Standard has 2 vCPUs, 4 GB and 70 GB for 3 to 6 accounts at $40.00; Professional has 4 vCPUs, 8 GB and 100 GB for 7 to 8 accounts at $60.00 [5]. Its forex VPS page opens on yearly billing, which shows $20.83, $33.33 and $50.00 a month, so check which view you are reading.

Platforms and brokers can be pre-installed from the order form, and a VPS is advertised as ready in 30 seconds on Windows Server 2022 or Ubuntu [5]. Backups are a “Data Backup Addon” whose price is not shown on the plan or order pages. The plans list one dedicated IP address but no port speed or memory type beyond DDR5, and its terms include 1 TB of traffic a month.

Beyond its uptime credits, the SLA promises to replace failed hardware within 24 hours of diagnosis or credit the full month, and the maintenance window closes as forex reopens on Sunday [5]. VPS refunds are available within 14 days, once per account. Some brokers sponsor a free VPS through an application on its site.

Strengths: six named data centres including NY4, LD4 and TY3; platforms pre-installed from the order form; a maintenance window that closes as forex reopens; an SLA with credits during market hours.

Limitations: backups are a paid add-on with no published price; ECC memory not stated; no port speed stated; Windows Server 2022 rather than 2025; the plan page opens on yearly prices; one refund per account.

6. Cloudzy

Cloudzy
source: cloudzy.com

Infrastructure tier: general cloud VPS with a forex page
Locations: 13 regions, including New York, Miami, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Dubai, Singapore and Sydney

Cloudzy, operated by Cloudzy AI Information Technology L.L.C. in Dubai, sells general cloud servers on AMD EPYC with a forex page that maps plans to trading workloads [8]. Its list prices are $14.95 for 2 GB (1 vCPU, 60 GB of NVMe, 3 TB of traffic), $28.95 for 4 GB (2 vCPUs, 120 GB, 5 TB) and $52.95 for 8 GB (4 vCPUs, 240 GB, 7 TB), all with DDR5 memory and a 40 Gbps uplink; a sale on October 29 halved them to $7.48, $14.48 and $26.48 [8]. A Ryzen line at 4.2 GHz or more costs the same.

Plans include IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, free snapshots and DDoS protection, and billing runs hourly, monthly or yearly [8]. Windows ships as a trial licence: Cloudzy asks you to bring your own key for production use and does not publish a licence price, and MetaTrader is not pre-installed. Its forex page says in one place that a 4 GB plan handles five to eight MT4 or MT5 instances “comfortably” and in another that it runs “8+” [8]. The money-back guarantee runs 14 days.

Strengths: 120 GB of NVMe storage at 4 GB; 13 regions; hourly billing; free snapshots and DDoS protection; a 14-day money-back guarantee.

Limitations: no permanent Windows licence included and no licence price published; the sale price is labelled limited time with no renewal price stated; two different terminal figures for the 4 GB plan on one page; traffic capped at 5 TB on 4 GB; ECC memory and data centre buildings not stated; no automatic backups described; no published maintenance window.

7. MyForexVPS

source: myforexvps.com

Infrastructure tier: forex VPS
Locations: London, New York, Amsterdam and Singapore

MyForexVPS, operated by ON2A FZ LLC in Fujairah, sells the lowest-priced 4 GB and 8 GB plans in this comparison [7]. Silver has 2 vCPUs, 2 GB of memory and 50 GB of SSD storage for 1 to 2 terminals at $14.99 a month; Gold has 2 vCPUs, 4 GB and 70 GB for 3 to 6 terminals at $19.99; Platinum has 4 vCPUs, 8 GB and 100 GB for 7 or more at $49.99 [7]. Annual billing takes 20 percent off, so Gold costs $15.99 a month paid yearly, and the code SPOOKY26 took 20 percent off on October 29.

Its cart adds a vCPU for $9.00 a month, memory at $5.00 per step and 10 GB of disk for $3.00, with all four locations at the same price and Windows 2019 or 2022 at no charge [7]. The SLA guarantees the allocated CPU, memory and storage and counts any shortfall as downtime.

That SLA promises 99.99 percent availability, while the same page’s footer claims “99.9999% uptime from May 2012” [7]. It also states that standard plans include no backups. Refunds are available for 7 days.

Strengths: the lowest price per GB here, $5.00 at 4 GB and $6.25 at 8 GB; per-hour SLA credits; a written guarantee of allocated resources; cheap disk add-ons.

Limitations: no backups on standard plans; SSD rather than NVMe storage; ECC memory and processor model not stated; the Sunday maintenance window can run an hour into the forex week while New York is on daylight time and London is not; a footer uptime claim that differs from the SLA; a 7-day refund window.

8. Beeks

Beeks
source: beeksgroup.com

Infrastructure tier: financial cloud and connectivity provider with a retail VPS store
Locations: London, New York, Chicago, Frankfurt, Tokyo and Hong Kong

Beeks Financial Cloud Group plc runs a retail VPS store priced in pounds before VAT [9]. Its base prices are £31 for Bronze (1 vCPU, 2,560 MB, 30 GB), £55 for Silver (2 vCPUs, 4,096 MB, 50 GB) and £97 for Gold (4 vCPUs, 6,656 MB, 75 GB). Windows adds £13 a month: £44 (about $58.47), £68 (about $90.36) and £110 (about $146.16), respectively, in the London configurations rechecked October 30 [9][10]. Silver with Windows costs £680 a year before VAT, including the two-month annual discount.

The London order form offers Windows Server 2025 or Ubuntu; Windows versions depend on location. The store also lists a managed service option and cTrader support, and says preparation takes 1 to 2 hours during market hours or up to 24 hours at weekends [9]. Usage guidance differs by page: the store list says 4 to 5 MetaTrader platforms for Silver; its product page suggests 6 instances with about 18 charts, depending on the EAs used.

Beeks publishes no uptime SLA, gives best-efforts notice of maintenance with no obligation, and makes backups the customer’s responsibility [9]. Refunds apply to cancellations within 24 hours of purchase.

Strengths: six cities including Chicago, Tokyo and Hong Kong; a managed service option; written usage guidance with chart counts; two months free on yearly billing.

Limitations: Windows costs £13 extra each month; no ECC, NVMe storage or included backups documented, leaving zero of the four inclusions counted in this guide; the highest Windows-inclusive price per GB here, about $22.59 at 4 GB and $22.49 on Gold; no 8 GB plan; traffic not stated; no uptime SLA; refunds only within 24 hours; setup up to 24 hours at weekends; inconsistent terminal guidance between the listing and product page.

Mistakes that cost traders money

Comparing first-month prices. AccuWeb’s Forex VPS 3 costs $29.99 in the first month and $47.00 after that, so a year on monthly billing costs $546.99, which is $187.11 more than twelve months at the headline price [6]. Cloudzy’s 4 GB plan is $14.48 during a sale labelled limited time and $28.95 at list [8]. Compare the recurring price.

Forgetting the Windows licence. Cloudzy’s 4 GB plan at $28.95 is $3.04 a month cheaper than VPSForexTrader Smart, but it ships with a trial licence and asks you to bring your own [1][8]. Any licence costing more than $3.04 a month erases the gap, and Cloudzy publishes no price for one. Beeks also needs a separate Windows charge: £55 Silver becomes £68 with Windows [9].

Assuming backups are included. MyForexVPS Gold at $19.99 is $12.00 a month cheaper than Smart, and its SLA says standard plans include no backups; NYCServers sells backups as an add-on without a published price [5][7]. Rebuilding a VPS with several terminals, templates and EAs from nothing costs hours, usually at the worst time.

Buying memory as an add-on instead of the next plan. At MyForexVPS, Silver with 2 GB of extra memory costs $24.99 a month for 4 GB and 50 GB of storage, while Gold costs $19.99 for 4 GB and 70 GB [7]. The add-on route costs $60 more a year for less disk.

Filling a 4 GB plan to the most generous rating. Cloudzy’s “8+” and AccuWeb’s “up to 8” leave about 0.25 GB per terminal after setting aside 2 GB for Windows, which suits light MT4 only [6][8][11]. Moving up to their 8 GB plans costs $24.00 a month more at Cloudzy and $44.00 more at AccuWeb, so size the plan before the terminals start freezing.

Prepaying a year inside a short refund window. A year of MyForexVPS Gold costs $191.88 with 7 days to ask for a refund; a year of ChartVPS Mark-1 costs $550 and is refundable only if the service does not match its description; a year of Beeks Silver with Windows costs £680, about $903.56, refundable only within 24 hours of purchase [4][7][9][10]. Run the first month on monthly billing, then switch.

Which provider fits which trader

Most automated traders run between two and ten terminals, and that range is where VPSForexTrader’s three plans sit. If you are testing a setup, the $0.99 three-day trial runs on the Smart specification, so you can install your terminals and watch memory use before paying for a month [1].

Two to four terminals, with one or two EAs each, fit Smart at $31.99 a month, or $25.59 on a 12-month term. That buys 3 vCPUs, 4 GB of ECC memory, 120 GB of NVMe storage, weekly backups and the Windows licence, and leaves about 0.50 GB per terminal after Windows [1][11]. The cheaper 4 GB plans in this guide save $2.00 to $12.00 a month by leaving out one or more of backups, ECC memory, NVMe storage and the licence.

Five to seven terminals, or a mix of MT4 and heavier MT5 terminals, fit Boost at $54.99 with 6 vCPUs, 6 GB and daily backups. Eight to ten fit Max at $79.99, which gives 8 vCPUs and 250 GB at the same $10.00 per GB that QuantVPS Lite+ and ChartVPS Mark-2 charge with 4 and 3 vCPUs [1][3][4]. Beyond ten, or for brokers in two cities, split the terminals across two plans, one in each broker’s city.

Two cases point elsewhere. A single light MT4 terminal on the smallest budget fits a 2 GB plan, which VPSForexTrader does not sell; NYCServers Basic, Cloudzy’s 2 GB plan and MyForexVPS Silver cost $25.00, $14.95 and $14.99 without all four inclusions [5][7][8]. And a broker whose servers sit in Chicago, Frankfurt, Tokyo or Singapore needs a host with a server in that city, which VPSForexTrader does not have.

Three findings from this comparison

At 8 GB, the three hosts that state all four inclusions charge almost the same: $79.99 for VPSForexTrader Max and QuantVPS Lite+ and $80.00 for ChartVPS Mark-2 [1][3][4]. What differs is the processor and the disk: 8, 4 and 3 vCPUs, and 250, 75 and 256 GB of storage. QuantVPS and ChartVPS use the Ryzen 9 9950X, which has the higher single-thread figures; VPSForexTrader gives the most vCPUs.

Terminal guidance for 4 GB of memory spans 0 to 1 (QuantVPS) to “8+” (Cloudzy), which works out at 2.00 GB to 0.25 GB per terminal after setting aside 2 GB for Windows [3][8][11]. A rating tells you how a host sizes its plans, not how your EAs will behave.

Seven providers showed a first-month or limited-time offer across the October 29–30 checks, ranging from 20 to 80 percent off the recurring price [1][3] to [8]. VPSForexTrader’s 20 percent first-month popup was verified on October 30; Beeks showed only an annual-term discount [9]. A sale changes the first invoice rather than necessarily the recurring price.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a forex VPS cost per month?

VPSForexTrader Smart costs $31.99 a month for 3 vCPUs, 4 GB of ECC memory, 120 GB of NVMe storage, weekly backups and Windows Server 2025, or $25.59 a month on a 12-month term [1]. Across the eight hosts here, 4 GB plans run from $19.99 (MyForexVPS Gold) to about $90.36 (Beeks Silver with Windows, £68 before VAT) on monthly billing, and 2 GB plans start at $14.95 [1][3] to [10]. VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on where you live.

How much RAM does a forex VPS need for MT4 or MT5?

Plan on roughly 0.5 GB per terminal on top of Windows; VPSForexTrader Smart’s 4 GB, rated for up to four terminals, leaves about that after 2 GB for Windows [1][11]. To check your own setup, run the terminals through a busy session and watch “Committed” memory against its limit in Task Manager; when committed memory nears the limit, the next plan up is due. MT5 terminals with many charts and long history need more than MT4 terminals running one EA each.

Which forex VPS includes ECC memory and backups in the price?

VPSForexTrader Smart includes both, with NVMe storage and the Windows licence, for $31.99 a month [1]. The two other 4 GB plans with all four cost more for less of something else: QuantVPS Starter+ is $8.00 more with one vCPU and 70 GB of storage fewer, and ChartVPS Alpha Mark-1 is $18.01 more with one vCPU fewer and 8 GB more storage [3][4]. Both use the faster Ryzen 9 9950X, which is what the extra money buys.

Is the Windows licence included in a forex VPS price?

VPSForexTrader includes Windows Server 2025 Standard with no separate licence charge [1]. ChartVPS, QuantVPS, AccuWeb Hosting, NYCServers and MyForexVPS also show Windows without a separate licence fee [3] to [7]. Beeks adds £13 a month to its VPS base price [9]. Cloudzy supplies a trial licence and requires your own eligible key for production use, so include that cost before comparing [8].

Do forex VPS promo prices stay the same on renewal?

Usually not. VPSForexTrader’s Smart recurring monthly price is $31.99; its Halloween email code, visible on October 30, takes 20 percent off the first invoice only, to about $25.59 before VAT [1]. AccuWeb discounts cover the initial term and do not renew, while QuantVPS’s 80 percent and ChartVPS’s 30 percent offers cover the first month [3][4][6]. QuantVPS and ChartVPS separately state a minimum three-year rate lock; read each offer’s conditions to distinguish its first invoice from its ongoing rate.

What is the cheapest forex VPS for a single EA?

If you run one light MT4 terminal and arrange your own backups, MyForexVPS Silver costs $14.99 a month for 2 vCPUs, 2 GB of memory and 50 GB of SSD storage, rated for 1 to 2 terminals, which is less than any VPSForexTrader plan [7]. Cloudzy’s 2 GB plan lists at $14.95 but needs your own Windows licence, and NYCServers Basic costs $25.00 [5][8]. After 2 GB for Windows, a 2 GB plan leaves almost no memory for the terminal, so this choice suits one terminal with a light EA and short chart history.

Editorial note

VPSForexTrader publishes this guide and is one of the eight providers compared. It appears third because the order groups providers by how many of the four inclusions they document and lists them alphabetically within each group; ChartVPS and QuantVPS document all four too and come first alphabetically. Beeks is last because Windows is a paid option and none of the four inclusions is documented as included in its base price. VPSForexTrader’s section lists more limitations than strengths, and the guide points to other hosts for a single light terminal on the smallest budget and for brokers in cities VPSForexTrader does not serve.

Prices, plans and terms were read on each provider’s own pages on October 29, 2026, on monthly billing without promo codes unless labelled otherwise. Marked first-month offers, Windows configurations, ECC and Pro specifications were rechecked October 30. Beeks prices are converted from pounds at the ECB reference rates of October 28, 2026. VAT or sales tax may apply on top of every price shown. Facts about VPSForexTrader that its public pages do not cover come from its operations team and are marked [2].

Terminal ratings, uptime figures and processor benchmarks are vendor-stated or PassMark’s published averages and have not been independently tested. The memory-per-terminal figures are arithmetic on published numbers, using Microsoft’s 2 GB minimum as a planning convention for Windows.

This guide covers hosting infrastructure only. It does not constitute financial advice, and trading performance depends on broker execution quality, market conditions and trader skill, none of which a VPS can fully control. If you find a figure that has changed or is wrong, contact us and we will correct it and record the change below.
